Zach's Landmark Presentation

Zachary and his class have been studying different landmarks and today parents were invited to come to their class for a Landmark Presentation.  Zachary's landmark was The White House.  Their were 4 children in his group and they researched and wrote facts about The White House and presented them along with a model they made.

They presented these facts about The White House:
It is located in Washington, DC
It has 147 windows,
28 fireplaces,
8 staircases,
132 rooms,
35 bathrooms and
3 elevators.
President John Adams and his wife, Abigail, were the first people to live in The White House.
At some point, there had been a fire at the White House.

They explained that they made their model out of a box covered with white paper, and black paper was used for the windows.  The flag was made out of a paint brush.

They all worked very hard and did a great job with their presentation!

After each group presented their landmark, the class sang a cute song about landmarks but of course Zachary got in the back row and was hiding behind the girls and we could hardly see him!  That little stinker!
