JPS Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast

The teachers and staff are always so good about recognizing the volunteers each year and this year they did it by having a Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast.  There was so much yummy food - they really went all out this year!   We were first welcomed by Mrs. Carol Perry, the Principal and then were entertained by various JPS students who were selected to be in the Bell Choir.  They performed You're a Grand Ole Flag, America The Beautiful and America (My Country, 'Tis of The) and did such a great job!  While we enjoyed our delicious breakfast, a slide show was playing of pictures that had been taken all throughout the year.  Then we were each given a Certificate and a little bucket that had "drops" of paper in them where students had written notes to the volunteers.  I actually got one of Grace's which read "Thank you for checking the homework.  Thank you for helping me on my  math."  They were all soooo sweet!

I forgot to get a picture of the three of us at the breakfast so we took this one after school today.

And since I had the camera, of course we had to take some pictures of the kids!
