Today we had our last "Around the World" luncheon for Gourmet Club and we went on an Asian Adventure. It was fabulous! Kim's house was beautifully decorated from the Asian dishes to the Japanese lanterns and the food was wonderful as well.
We started the luncheon outside on the back patio with Korean BBQ, Shrimp Summer Rolls and Rising Sun. Once we moved inside we dined on Thai Cucumber Salad, Ginger & Coconut Soup, Pancit Bihon, Sesame Snow Peas with Red Pepper, Asian Pork Medallions with slaw and Indian Mango dessert. Mmmmm.......it was all so good. And then to finish off we were given just a little taste of homemade Sake.......ichi, ni, san!
