US National vs. Honduras Soccer Match

After leaving the museum, we drove out to Arlington to eat dinner at Lebanese Taverna where we had a delicious dinner of hummus, grape leaves, kibbeh, tabouleh, and beef, lamb, and chicken shawarma. It was fabulous! After dinner, we headed back into DC to RFK Stadium to see the US play Honduras in the Gold Cup. Santino Quaranta broke a scoreless draw in the 75th minute and Brian Ching followed with a header in the 79th as the United States defeated Honduras 2-0. It was a great game with lots of excited fans. There were more Honduras fans than there were US fans and we seemed to be sitting right in the middle of a huge section of Honduras fans but it was a blast.
